That doesn't sound right
Well the other day I tried something that was SURPRISINGLY good. My friend recommended that I try a Guinness with vanilla ice cream, kind of like a coke float but with Guinness instead of coke. I was skeptical at first but was surprised that it actually works. If you think about it, it should work. Guinness if often described as having chocolate or coffee/mocha flavors to it. Both those tastes go hand in hand with vanilla ice cream. So I poured the Guinness and scooped in to hefty servings of breyers vanilla ice cream, the best ice cream in my opinion. I took a sip of the Guinness and instead of the typical chocolate and coffee flavors, which were still present, there we a very dominant creamy vanilla flavor that melded well with the other flavors of the beer. It reminded me of a very dark espresso with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. There was a little alcohol bite to it that reminded me it was a alcoholic drink which I appreciated. All in all, a great new drink for me and I think I will have to put it into my regular rotation of alcoholic drinks and sweet desserts.
